For Schools, Communities, and Companies

Creative Educational Programs

Jobel designs dynamic educational programs based on physical theatre techniques, integrating, music, storytelling and visual arts to cultivate creativity while building self-confidence, well-being, and resilience in schools, communities, and professional organizations.

Our pedagogical approach is rooted in four core pillars—Play, Explore, Create, Share—and guided by a “multi-level engagement method” we have developed and continuously enrich and adapt to the needs of the people we engage.

WE ARE THE FOREST Grade 1 to 4

“We Are the Forest” is an immersive physical storytelling workshop for Grades 1–4 that brings science, theatre, and creativity together. Through play, exploration, and collaborative creation, students embody trees, animals, and natural elements, discovering forest ecosystems while practicing teamwork, problem-solving, and self-expression. Led by artist and instructor Marinella Montanari, the workshop connects drama, ecology, and values like kindness and respect in a way that is fun, memorable, and deeply educational.

OUR SUSTAINABLE CITY Grade 5 to 10

“Our Sustainable City” is an immersive artistic program for secondary schools. Inspired by the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, it combines theatre, visual arts, music, and multimedia to explore social and environmental themes. Through the pillars Learn – Explore – Reflect – Create – Share, students build creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration skills while discovering how art can be a powerful tool to imagine a more sustainable future

BARRHAVEN THEATRE CLASSES

This 8-class course starting October 18, is designed for children ages 6–8 and 8–10. Taught mainly in English with segments in French, it culminates in a bilingual performance inspired by The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Our multi-level engagement method is built on four pillars: Play, Explore, Create, Share, guiding every class through dynamic physical theatre exercises, small-group creations, and sharing moments where each small group presents what they have created to the others. Along the way, children discover the essentials of theatre: expressive movement, voice projection, collaborative creation, and responsive creativity. More than just theatre skills, this journey nurtures self-confidence, well-being, kindness, and active listening, helping each child grow not only as a performer, but also as a person.

Each groupe has a maximum of 15 paricipans.

Please note that a minimum of 10 students is required for this course to proceed. If we do not meet this minimum enrollment by, October 3rd 2025 the course will be canceled, and all registered students will receive a full refund of their registration fee.

Team building experiences for corporate groups use creative techniques of drama, dance and music, engaging participants in hands-on activities. These activities stimulate active listening, empathy, communication and problem solving. They can take place in the Jobel Center Arts Residence or in corporate spaces, with one-day or multi-day tracks. Through creative exercises, interaction, collaboration, group cohesion and well-being at work are improved.
